Awkwafina

Awkwafina started out as a American musician and rapper releasing sly tracks that tackled issues such as racial and sexual identities with a funny twist. In the years before she stepped to Hollywood her career, she was able to make a few songs. Nora Lum is the daughter of Chinese as well as Korean parents who hail from Forest Hills Queens. The trumpet was her first instrument. She also received the classical and jazz education later delving into hip-hop as a teenager. In college, she studied the field of women's studies and journalism. She even spent some time learning Mandarin during her time in Beijing. She turned her attention to music only after she completed her degree. After gaining viral fame on the Internet and her own My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually was included on the debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also featured viral hit tracks, such as body positive Queef and winking tour of her home NYC Bitche$1. This track was directly linked to another project, Awkwafina's NYC a travel guide published in the year 2015. Her resume included both the musician and author. The singer was seeking for a new career path in acting. Aside from early TV shows like Girl Code and Tawk, she has also been featured in movies like Neighbors2Storks, and Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered several notable parts, including Dude Ocean 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
