Aunjanue Ellis

Aunjanue Elis Taylor is an American actress and screen actress and producer. Her most well-known work is as a film actress for her role as a character in Ray Undercover Brother (Ray Undercover Brother) and The Mentalist. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in African-American Studies at Brown University as well as a Masters in Fine Arts in Acting at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is a producer as well as an actress in the fields of theater, film, and TV. She started her career as a theater actress and then appeared in several television programs and both mainstream and independent films. The actress became well-known as Miranda Shaw, a character on ABC's Quantico. In the BET's huge show The Book of Negroes she performed. She did not only get praise from critics for her role but got a handful of awards and nominations. The actress made her professional debut when she played Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. She has performed in Broadway in Come and Gone, A Winter's Tale, Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis. In her film career, she is best known for her role in movies like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help. The role she played as a frequent character on ABC's drama-police series High Incident earned her praises.
