Patricia Apollonia Kotero is an American actor, singer and model. The actress was the co-star of Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain, and the member of the girl band Apollonia 6 In the 80s, the actor-singer Prince christened Apollonia and she was among many female artists that benefited through their relationship with Prince. The actress was born Patricia Kotero in Santa Monica California in 1959 her career began as a model actress in the latter part of the 1970s with a role on the TV show CHiPS. She was the lead female in Prince's Purple Rain in 1984 (when he also changed her name). The same year, she resigned Vanity as part of the trio Vanity 6 and was a part of their name as Apollonia 6 in the film.
