Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's food provides a way to get inside her world. It is her food that inspires curiosity. This was the result when she left her Long Island suburbs and entered the rich cultural environment of Los Angeles. Cavatelli and Carnitas have the ability to coexist in harmony in the menus, an assumption that has developed in the course of time. What remains is her singular vision of the future while still wishing to reminisce about the previous. Motivated by her American-born Italian heritage, Lofaso launched Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 which was immediately well received. Lofaso is lauded for her unique interpretation of Italian food. Lofaso is consistently highly acclaimed by patrons of Scopa's for its food, which is authentic and unmistakably satisfying. Lofaso worked as an apprentice chef to master chefs, absorbing their techniques and taking risks. She did not hesitate to do so to follow her own intuition. She swiftly rose up the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and then went into working closely with celebrities in various Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso established Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. Lofaso was able to find an outlet within Black Market as well as the alliances she created. Lofaso was able to achieve the creative spirit she desired by working with her. Black Market doesn't have one distinct orientation. This is the intention. A meal could start with chipped potatoes and peppers with Dill. Then it's Korean meatballs and wings. The underlying ingredient in this dazzling array of flavors is Antonia. Lofaso has, over the course of her career, has judged her success by how well she understands her audiences. Also, she stays true to who she is. Her memorable performances in Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her distinctiveness in the kitchen, and her skills continue to shine in front of the camera as an expert judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup and in regular role on the Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso teamed up in partnership with Penguin In 2012, she teamed up with Penguin to publish The Busy Mum's Cookbook 100 Recipes to prepare Delicious Home-cooked Meals. This book also describes the obstacles she faced while attending an institution called the French Culinary Institute and raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso says that her passion to cook is the main factor behind her success. She is always on top of things by keeping a close to the latest trends and fashions. Chefletics transforms the way chefs dress through the combination of style and functionality. Lofaso believes that sticking to your vision is important. To accomplish her goals, she launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. It allows customers to enjoy an unrivalled service.
