Aura Garrido is an Spanish actor and actress on television. She was in movies such as Stockholm as well as the TV show El Ministerio Del Tiempo. Garrido began her career in Madrid, in 1989. Tomas Garrido has been a composer for more than thirty years. He is a conductor of orchestras. Pilar sanchez, Garrido's mother, is an artist and musician. In her fourth year she started lessons in piano and soon following that, ballet. In her early years, she had a friend who spoke English. After finishing her high school studies and she attended Real Escuela Superior DE Arte Dramatico in Madrid. She studied interpreter for three years, with a focus on translation of text. She left the school at the end of 2010 after she secured an acting role in Planes para manana. The film won her the Silver Biznaga in the Best Supporting Actress category, and a nomination for the Goya Awards' best debut actress.
