In the publication of Vanity Fair from July 2003 the magazine featured her as one of the hottest teenagers of this year. In 2004 Vega made two films: Sleepover, and State's Evidence. In the Lifetime TV series Odd Girl Out as a cyberbully, she appeared in 2005. In 2006, she starred in a TV movie in 2006 called Walkout. As of 2007, she wrapped filming Remember the Daze which was only available in select theatres. Repo is her last film. The Genetic Opera, which was released in 2008. 10. Vega has been confirmed to be playing the main character in Helix. The script was written and directed by Aram Rapaport. Filming began in Chicago, March 2008, and concluded in April 2008, with Vega as the lead character. Her initial role was in The 2009 Robert Rodriguez film Shorts, but due to being in Australia for the filming of Broken Hill, she had to be replaced. Kat Dennings replaced her. Penny was a character that she was on Broadway's Hairspray. She played Ruby Gallagher was on the ABC Family TV sitcom Ruby & the Rockits in 2009. It also featured Patrick Cassidy. The Genetic Opera. 12 years ago, Vega played throughout 2012 in 2br/1ba by Rob Margolies, a thriller produced by Rob Margolies, with Spencer Grammer and Kathryn Morris. Vega starred also in The Pregnancy Project on Lifetime Channel as well as completed her animated film The Clockwork Girl. The Mine, a film that was filmed by Vega and released in the year 2010 and only screened to a select public. Vega has also voiced Christina for the animated TV series Unsupervised. She was also featured in the series Royal Pains. Vega voiced the protagonist of Aerosmith's "Legendary Child" that was a music video. [13]
