Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton, an English actress, is well-known for films like Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, as well as ?Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters ?. Her birthplace was in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater London. Her acting career began shortly after she was graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Her debut came in a comedy called "St. Trinian's".. She appeared shortly after in "Quantum of Solace", the James Bond spy thriller. The film was commercially successful, but received mostly average reviews. In the following film, she played her role as the female protagonist in the action-fantasy film 'Princess of Persia The Sands of Time'. More recently, she played a supporting role in the French film 'Orphan'. Arterton received nominations for a variety of honors throughout her professional career. She won her the "Empire Award for the Best Newcomer" for the film "Quantum of Solitude" along with being awarded the "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for her role in the musical, 'Made in Dagenham".
